HHCA Institute is currently seeking an RN bilingual Spanish Instructor to teach our Home Health Aide training course in Spanish, to our Spanish speaking students.

Qualifications:

  • Registered nurse currently licensed in the State of New York
  • Registered nurse for at least two years preceding application
  • Must have home care experience
  • Certified or Qualified HHA Class Room teaching experience
  • Bilingual, Spanish Speaking is required

HHCA Training Institute is a career school located in the heart of Myrtle Avenue, between Ridgewood and Glendale.  Our school offers Home Health Aide, Certified Nurse Aide training as well as provides other EKG and Phlebotomy clinical related training.  We have a rare opportunity for an experienced HHA Training Instructor who will be responsible to instruct & train students in a classroom setting.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities:

The HHA Instructor is responsible for the delivery of clinical training for Home Health Aide students.  Creates a stimulating learning environment that encourages participation, interpersonal skills development, and comprehension of concepts of good patient care.  Evaluates and documents student progress through testing, observation, and assessment of skills attained.  Timely completion of all student/program related documentation, reports and paperwork along with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
